They’ll all be teenagers getting ready for the prom before we know it.

Trust me, it’s true!

Sleep well,

Nothing is as cute as a chick. My daddy always gave my brother and me one for Easter, and that is still one of my favorite memories.

When the chicks became chickens or roosters, they were taken to my grandmother’s farm where after a while they mysteriously disappeared. I think they ended up on the Sunday table. I didn’t eat chicken until I was an adult!

First night with our six chickens. Our heat lamp got the cage to over 100 so we unplugged it for a while. Never an issue of heat in this house so I think we won’t use the light all the time or perhaps put it on a timer so it doesn’t get so hot in there.
